The Tour d’Coops has been delighting visitors for many years by showcasing the unique character of Lexington area chicken coops to the community. Do you have or know of a chicken coop that should be seen by others? CLUCKy is looking for coops that brighten up a yard, make for a good chicken home and highlight responsible chicken keeping. It’s a tour of homes for chickens!

What’s the date? May 18th, 2024, 1:00 - 4:00
What does CLUCKy provide? We will provide street signage and marketing as well as ticketing and management of the event. All you need to do is be a good host, be ready for lots of questions and show off your chickens and their cozy chicken home!
How many people can I expect? We had approximately 100 visitors to each coop in 2023. There could be more if we are able to build on last year’s success but there could be less. Often it depends on the weather.
What about parking? Consider if there is there plenty of parking nearby and if visitors will be able to safely walk to your house. Let your neighbors know what to expect if needed.
How to prepare? You’ll want to make sure your yard is safe for visitors, so consider the best path to your coop and anything that might be tripped over, run into, or damaged by visitors. Also make sure your chickens are safe! Make it clear where visitors should or shouldn’t go with signage or barriers. Also, feel free to make it educational! Let people know what breeds you have and explain any unique features you have on your coop.
